"Mounds" candy bar copycat recipe (REVISED)

Yup, it's true. There's a healthy, delicious (and, might I add, low carb/calorie) alternative for those chemical filled yummy mouthfuls of coco-nutty goodness you can buy in the store.

Best frozen, these 50 calorie, 1.8 carb chocolaty bites are fast and easy to make and ready to satisfy a sweet tooth craving in minutes.

Store bought equivalent:

Calories: 92
Carbs: 11

Sure makes them look even better now, huh? Now you HAVE to try them.

Copycat Dark Chocolate Mounds

Filling:
1/4 Cup unsweetened shredded coconut
2 tbsp almond milk
1/8 tsp vanilla
Sweetener to taste (I use Stevia)

Coating:
2 tbsp unsweetened coco powder
2 tbsp almond milk
Sweetener to taste

Directions:

1. In a small bowl, combine shredded coconut, almond milk and stevia until well mixed. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto a sheet and put into the freezer.
2. Meanwhile, mix together coco powder, almond milk and sweetener until smooth.
3. Once coconut drops are firm, remove them from the freezer and roll them in the chocolate mix. Pop them back into the freezer until chocolate is hard.
4. Enjoy!!

And no need feel bad if you eat 2 or 3...or 4.

Let me know what you think!
