Stuffed Bell Peppers

I don't even know where to start with these.


These are De.Lisc.Ous. Mouth-wateringly good.


And you know they're good when Dad says, "No, you can't make them once in awhile. You need to make them a lot"


Ok, so it may not look the best....


But seriously, this is the best recipe I've EVER made. (Not that I've made a lot, but you get the point.)


Oh yeah, I guess I should post the recipe, since that's what you're here for...

Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients:

2 Green bell peppers
4 Cups sliced mushrooms
1/2 Cup onion
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 pound sausage, cooked
1 Cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Melt butter in large saucepan and saute mushrooms and onions together until soft. Mix together sausage, cheese and mushrooms and set aside. Slice peppers in half from top to bottom remove seeds and broil until soft, but still holding its shape. Stuff pepper halves and pop in broiler for a couple minutes (watch them carefully) to melt the cheese and thoroughly heat them. Take out and dig in!!
